Regan's Tooth

Couldn't believe it when Regan tooth was loose.
It seemed so early! But it didn't take long........
......and it was out! She was very nervous to have
me pull it. But once I did it she was shocked when
it was not even a big deal. So dramatic! ;)

Ryan's Tootsie Roll Adventure

Ryan received
a piece of candy
in primary, from
a member of the
bishopric. It was
a vanilla tootsie roll.
YUMMY!! Well
he decided it was
his favorite kind of tootsie roll, but that it was not
fair that the regular flavored tootsie rolls came in
a bigger size and not the Vanilla. So, when we got
home from church, he decided to write a letter
to Tootsie Roll Headquarters. In his letter he told
them that he like the vanilla tootsie rolls the best,
that they are his favorite flavor. He then told them
that he really wished they would make the vanilla
flavor tootsie roll in a big bar, like the chocolate one.
We mailed the letter, and a few weeks later he received
a letter back from Tootsie Roll. He was soooooooooo
excited!! We all could not believe he got a response.
The letter (below) said they were pleased to hear from
him. They also told him they would have the vanilla
tootsie roll flavor available in a larger size in the near
future!!! Can you believe that?! They also sent a coupon
for tootsie roll products with the letter. We were all very
excited! Of course, his grandma and mom were on the
verge of tears while he read the letter to us.....I know
we are a bunch of saps :)!! Just thought we'd share
this fun experience!

A Winter Scenic Drive!

One day we decided to go for a drive because we
had recently had lots of rain that caused beautiful
waterfalls on the mountain sides not too far from
our home. We started our journey in the beautiful
desert where we live...............followed the highway......

.......to the beautiful waterfalls along the highway.
What a fun thing to see. The kids were amazed at
the raging waterfalls.

This is where they began their hike to the biggest
waterfall.

They arrived at the bottom of the falls......

.....but of course the adventure was not
over yet..........

.....they had to see how high they could get, and
how close they could get to the raging water.

It was very beautiful.

Regan lovin' the adventure!

Ryan exploring!

Our journey eventually got us to the beautiful
fresh snow up the highway. Always a pretty site.

Even though we weren't dressed or equiped for
snow, the kids just had to get out and play in it.

No matter how cold they got they always had
big smiles on their faces :)

......"cheese" :)

Our adventure was almost over.............

..................and ended with a beautiful Arizona
Sunset!!!! Gotta love it!

Christmas 2009

We decided to go to the Mesa Temple lights on
Christmas Eve! It was so beautiful.....always
an amazing site!!

The kids really enjoyed all the lights!

That blurry blob is Wyatt.......

Our christmas tree, it was very fat this year :)

Christmas morning......Santa gifts!

So much fun!!!
