The Official U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree!

When Rhett found out the Christmas tree for
our country's Capitol was going to be from here
in Arizona, he was so excited. Being a truck
driver himself, gave him more interest and he
knows the guy driving the truck that is delivering
the Capitol Tree. We were all excited to know
it would be making a stop here in Apache Junction
for public viewing and festivities!

So Rhett took Ryan and Regan to see the trucks
and trees. It was quite the event!
The tree is an 85 ft. Blue Spruce from Alpine,
Arizona. There are misters and a cooler on the
trailer to keep the temp. right for the tree.
There is also a water bladder on the trunk and
the tree drinks up to 65 gal. per day.

They even got to write their names on the sign
hanging on the trailer.

This truck carried the ten thousand ornaments,
made by Arizona school children, for decorating
the tree.

There was a youth choir singing Christmas songs,
police cars and officers, treats ang goodies, and
more.......but most of all there was SANTA!!!!!

video
The kids were amazed by the size of the tree and the trailer! It was a once in a lifetime opportunity!

Apple Eater!

I had the fridge door open and Wyatt had to be
curious and check it out. He found this apple on
the shelf and snagged it. I didn't know what he
was going to do with it...I thought he was going to
throw it like a ball, since he loves to throw balls
around the house. But to my surprise he stuck it
in his mouth and started chompin' down on it! He
really enjoyed it and ate quite a good amount for
such a little guy! :) Yummy!

DISNEYLAND news!!!!!!

We got our tickets, for Disneyland, in the mail
a few days ago!!!! We finally told the kids the
exciting news!! Here's a picture to show a small
amount of their excitement and anticipation!!!
We will be going on Thanksgiving Day!!

HALLOWEEN 2009!!

TRUNK OR TREAT 10/24/09

Barbie/Regan as Thumbelina

Ryan as Venom. No masks allowed at church
so I had to paint his face to look like a Venom
mask! He loved it, and nobody recognized him
at church.

Wyatt as Buzz Lightyear

The whole crew!!! Ready to go!!
Our front porch. SPOOKY!!

Our Jack-O-Lantern
Halloween Night 10/31/09

The kids and I went to a Halloween party at
the Caza Home! It was very fun!!

Jack the Pumpkin King

Ryan wanted to be Jack sooooo bad, for soooo
long. His Grandma Carla mad him the suit and
I made the bat for his colar! He was so excited
to finally get to be this character!

"Trick or Treat"!!!!

They got live goldfish at the party! Oh YEA!!!!

Even Wyatt went trick or treating!

Where did the tires go?!?!

So Sunday Sept. 27, 2009, we were just waking
up when a loud knock and doorbell sounded
through the house. A little surprised, and not
expecting anyone, we looked out the upstairs
window to find a cop car out front. I went down,
opened the door and the cop said, "Is that your
truck and trailer parked out on Cortez?". I said,
"Yes". He said, "Did it have tires on it the last
time you saw it?".....I said."Uh, yes." He said,
"Well it doesn't anymore"! I replied, "Lovely!!"
Wide eyed and shocked I got Rhett to go out
and meet the cop out by the truck. Of course
the tire shop is closed on Sunday, so we had to
wait to do anything. These pics are what we saw
as we drove out to the street......and everyone
in our nieghborhood that is in our ward saw
as they headed to church that afternoon. :)
We actually got a call a few days later, while we
were waiting for our tires to come in. It was
the police dept. asking why our truck and trailer
were parked out on the street, because they
had received a complaint about an abandoned
truck and trailer! Seriously!!!! You really think
our $40,000 truck and brand new trailer would
be abandoned on the main street outside of our
nieghorhood?!!!? Come on!! Anyway, that was
the drama! :)

(that dress was not Regan's)

Erin gave her a "Littlest Petr Shop" toy!

Grandma and Grandpa even got Ryan a gift....

Erin made an ice cream cake for the party...it
was delicious!!

Blowing out her #5 candle! Birthday cake time!!

The next day she got a package in the mail
from Grandma and Grandpa Tomsik! It was
this beautiful dress.....she was so EXCITED!

We also had a party at Grandma Carla's house
on her actual birthday. Grandma made a cake
just for Regan!

her Grandma Andrea.......Wyatt enjoys it as well!

Laundry Fairy!!

One day I was searching for Wyatt all over the
house......well I found him doing this, lol!! He
loves to do the laundry.....he really will help me
put clothes in the washer and dryer :). But I
have learned to check the washer before I use
it to be sure there are no foriegn objects in it!

The kids were in a singing mood and wanted to make
a video of it....so I had to share!!

Manti/Fish Lake trip July 2009

We stopped at the bridge over Lake Powell Damn on our
way to Manti.

The kids were amazed at the size of the bridge and Damn.

Hi Wyatt!!!

We got to Manti safe and sound and the cousins had a blast
together.

Grandpa's fishing boat became a drum for the babies.....and
the others.

This is the kids in the car on the way to the Manti Cemetery
to visit Grandma and Grandpa Harris. (Regan was very grumpy
and ready for a nap). The Cemetery was beautiful and it
was fun to do a little geneology while we walked through out
the grounds. So much family history in such a small city!

And of course we had to go to the Malt Shop before we could
complete our outing. This is the playground outside the
Malt Shop.....yum!

The kids had a blast swinging and eating ice cream.

...even Wyatt enjoyed the nice green grass to play on! Despite
finding a wasps nest at my knees, under the picnic table,
we all enjoyed revisiting familiar places full of memories! Plus
the food was still delicious!

This is the view of the beautiful Manti Temple from the
entrance of the Campground we were camped at.

Gotta have the night view!!! Soooo pretty!

Around the campfire at Fish Lake.

Ryan and Regan had so much fun fishing with Grandpa Tomsik
and Aunt Colleen!

Mr. Wyatt was our good luck charm......no joke. We had
much success that morning....when Wyatt was on the boat.....
....not so much that afternoon when he was not on board.
Sorry guys!

Grandpa prepared the fishing poles.......

......We played with the bait.......

......And Regan caught the first fish....we put the littel guy back
so he could get bigger.

Then she caught another......too small again.

Then Grandpa caught one.....but THEN Ryan caught a BIGGER one!!!

Next Ryan caught his second.........

......Then Regan finally caught a keeper......and.....somewhere
in there Colleen caught one......I admit...it was the BIGGEST.

Here is the catch of the day!! Beautiful and delicious....for
those that enjoy eating fish. Grandma Tomsik cooked it up
that night. It turned out very well...as usual!

Here is Rhett with the dirtiest fast EVER. He went riding with
Jeremy and Franky.......beautiful ride, I am told. Rhett followed
the others...as you can tell by his clean face! :)

Lake Powell "look out" on our drive home. HUGE!!!!

There we are!

There they are!!

Ryan at Lake Powell

Regan at Lake Powell.
Our trip was sooooo fun.......but......WAY TOO SHORT!!

Eating Rabbit

Rhett and his a Dad went to our friend's house to help them
get their rabbits ready for eatin'! Ryan went also, he had an
interesting experience. He got a little close and got blood on
him..........then he threw up! He took it well, and now he talks
about it all the time like it was nothing. This was the meat
after all the bloodiness was over. Just a few pics of the kids
enjoying the bunny rabbits!

Baby no more!!!!

pulling up on everything!

What a cutie!!

Getting so big......look at that smile!!

Already lovin' the trucks!

Camping with family!!

It snowed the first night we were there, but it was light
and melted once the sun was out.

The kids had fun in the little bit that was on the ground.

This was "the climbing tree".....named by the kids.
Gathering fire wood........the kids found an old dead tree that
they decided to break apart and bringto camp one piece at a
time. It was quite a hike for their little legs, but we weren't
going to stop them from hiking a little. :)

The trailer became a playground for the kids for some reason.
Doesn't he look thrilled :)
Sitting around the camp fire.

We woke up on our last day to even more snow.....and it
was still snowing......and would not stop.
But nothing stops the kids from having fun while camping!

Ryan couldn't wait to see if Daddy was going to let him ride
his quad in the snow!
Wyatt's first snow trip.....even if it wasn't planned!!
I think he liked it!
The kids played while the adults packed up....quickly!
......and.......YES....Ryan got to go for a ride on his quad in
the snow!!! Yea!!!!

The BIG Night!! At the Race!

The track and obsticles.

Rhett and Ryan havin' fun watching the races!

Regan watching...or not.....with Aunt Sarah!

Ryan was so excited to see this truck....War Wizard!!

Go Batman!!!

Ryan loves Donkey Kong........

..........But not as much as GRAVE DIGGER!!!!!

Grave Digger landed right in front of us!! Thank goodness
the first 9 rows are blocked off...we are in row 11.

Regan and Me enjoying some time together. She was really
getting bored!

Las Vegas Pit Party

Ryan got to sign this box truck and they put this truck out
on the track for the monster trucks to crush!

Regan had been real sick the day before and still wasn't feeling
100% at the pit party. She tried to enjoy herself.

Wyatt's first Monster Jam Pit Party!!! He had been sick too,
we were lucky to get this smile. Poor guy.

Ryan had a blast! It's been fun seeing the change in him
each year we go! He's a true fan!!

Ryan had tons of fun talking to all the different drivers and
having them sign his shirt! This particular driver asked Ryan
who his favorite truck was and Ryan was brutally honest
and told him straight out..."Grave Digger!" Needless to say
the driver was very disappointed! LOL

This was a very unexpected head-lock! Ryan thought it was
so funny!!

This is Dennis Anderson, the driver of GRAVE DIGGER!!
Well, obviously, not really, but it was funny......and...we didn't
have to wait in line for 4 HOURS to get this picture!! :)

Couldn't leave the pit party without getting a picture with
the best truck ever!!!

Monster Truck Custom Clothing!

Grandma Andrea made the kids matching clothes to
wear to the "pit party". So cute!!

Fun with family!

The kids had a blast with their Aunt Sarah and Aunt Keigthy Bug!

Out and about in Vegas

Our hotel was right on the strip, so it was great to be able to
walk to the places we wanted to go. These pics are from our
walk back to our hotel after a DELICIOUS Vegas Buffet!!

his hands and knees. Well, today he really crawled!!! We are
so proud of him!
video

Touch a Truck Event

We went to an event put on by Rhett's work called
the Touch a Truck event. The kids loved seeing all
the really big trucks and equipment.

They even had big dirt piles for the kids to play
in and these real cool shovel things.

The Air Force had a police car there and Regan
was so excited to say something on the loud speaker.

They demenstrated the police K9. It was
pretty cool.

We even got to see the 2009 Wiener Mobile!!!!

Gotta love the air horn!!

The Empire CAT Hummer.

Aside from Sarah getting fried......it was a great time!!

Kids say the funniest things!

This morning Regan was singing, as always, with
her beautiful little voice. She was singing "I Love
To See The Temple" and these are the words she
sang: "I love to see the temple..............for the temple
is a house of god, a place of "Sleeping Beauty".......!!
So cute!! I just had to blog such a funny moment!!

Santa Gift!!!

When we got home from California, our Santa Christmas was
waiting for us!(Thank you "Santa's Helpers") Even though it was
late when we finally got home, the kids were so excited to see
what Santa had left them!! Of course, I only video taped that
night, so these pics are taken the next day or so.......still just
as exciting!!

Regan just had to have a "purple princess bike"!

And Ryan had to have "a blue bike"!!

We are so blessed to have been able to have this great
Christmas with our kids. Wyatt got a few little toys.....just
not as exciting when they have no idea what is going on!

Gingerbread Houses! 2008

We made gingerbread houses with Aunt Leanne this year!
We didn't get to last year, so the kids were really excited
to get to do it again.

Ryan was so careful and patient with his. He even
figured out how to do the icicles by himself.

He really enjoyed making the gingerbread houses
again.

......another view............................

..............another view.

Regan had to have everything in just the right spot!
There was no changing her mind on anything!!
Although she wasn't thrilled about having her
picture taken at this moment, she did really enjoy
making the gingerbread house.

It really did turn out pretty cute in the end.

.....another view.......

........and........another view.

6 Months Old!!!

Can't believe this little guy has been around
for six months!

More Adventures in good old California!

We went to the L.A. Zoo with my parents, my
younger sister, one of my older sisters and her family,
and one of my older brothers, his fiance and his son.

Ryan really loved all the animals, but was real
upset when we found the petting zoo to be closed :(

Regan loves Giraffes, so she was very exctied
to see them there!

Fun Times!!!

Christmas Eve in California!

Wyatt's first Christmas! My mom got him these
socks for Christmas...had to get a picture!

We read and acted out the Nativity. A long
running family tradition.

It was so great to be able to see all my siblings,
their spouses, and children! The cousins all had
so much fun seeing each other after so long.

Ryan was Joseph......and proud of it!

Regan was a shy angel.
